A self-paced introductory course aims to equip private-sector stakeholders with a clear and comprehensive understanding of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, with a strong focus on building the capacity to access and mobilize carbon finance through carbon markets. This initiative is promoted and supported by GIZ Article 6 Capacity Building Project. Key concepts covered include:
  • Foundations on carbon finance and Article 6
  • How to mobilizing private capital through Article 6 cooperation
  • How to design bankable carbon market projects aligned with Article 6
  • Understand pricing models, policy risks, and buyer expectations in evolving carbon markets
This e-learning course is part of a two-course series, the first being “Article 6 Explained: A Practical Learning Journey".
