Background

The transition toward clean energy has become a strategic priority for businesses in response to climate commitments, regulatory developments, and increasing expectations from investors and other stakeholders. However, many companies continue to face challenges in aligning their sustainability ambitions with viable financing mechanisms.

Green finance plays a critical role in enabling clean energy deployment through various financial instruments, risk mitigation mechanisms, and blended finance approaches that improve project bankability. A clear understanding of these mechanisms is essential for companies at different stages of their sustainability journey.
