ObjectivesÂ
- To outline and analyze the three main ESG challenges currently faced by Indonesian companies.Â
- To teach how to strategically respond to ESG threats, transforming them into innovation and competitive advantage.Â
- To demonstrate how mature ESG implementation generates sustainable growth and lasting shareholder value.Â
BackgroundÂ
In the face of escalating global demands for transparency and sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors have become central to corporate strategy. However, the transition to a sustainable business model is fraught with hurdles.Â
The workshop “Strategic ESG Implementation for Long-Term Value Creation” is organized to realistically unpack the fundamental challenges often hindering ESG implementation—ranging from the complexity of data collection and reporting, difficulties in measuring social impact, to the pressure of avoiding greenwashing practices.Â
This session aims to equip corporate leaders with a solid framework to address these challenges head-on. By strategically transforming ESG hurdles into actionable steps, companies will not only meet investor and regulatory expectations but also build resilience and secure a long-term competitive edge in an increasingly sustainability-conscious market.Â
