SUMMARY:Digging Deeper into Measurement\, Reporting\, and Verification (MRV): Implementing Carbon Accounting in the FOLU Sector
DESCRIPTION:Objectives\nThis workshop\, facilitated by Dr. Wahyu Catur Adinugroho from BRIN\, a distinguished carbon expert in the Forests and Other Land Use (FOLU) sector\, aims to deepen participants’ understanding of carbon accounting within FOLU. The session will highlight the significance of accurate carbon accounting in the context of monitoring\, reporting\, and verification (MRV) for carbon projects\, while equipping participants with practical knowledge and skills that align with both national and international standards. \nBackground\nThe expanding carbon market and continuous updates to trading systems highlight the growing importance of carbon accounting. This process involves measuring both direct and indirect emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases from human activities\, as well as accounting for carbon sequestration within various ecosystems. In the FOLU sector\, carbon accounting estimates emissions and removals resulting from deforestation\, forest degradation\, land use changes\, and land management practices. The primary goal is to quantify emissions from forest and land use activities to support national emission reduction targets and monitor progress toward achieving them. \nCarbon accounting methodologies in the FOLU sector vary based on their application. For national reporting\, Indonesia uses the 2006 IPCC Guidelines and its 2019 Refinement\, along with the National Registry System for Climate Change Control (SRN-GRK) and the REDD+ MRV framework. Meanwhile\, project developers apply international voluntary standards like the Verified Carbon Standard (Verra)\, Gold Standard\, or Plan Vivo\, tailored to specific project types such as REDD\, improved forest management\, reforestation\, wetland conservation\, or agroforestry. This workshop aims to deepen participants’ understanding of these methodologies\, facilitate the exchange of field experiences and best practices\, and address key challenges in achieving accurate and credible carbon accounting. \nSpeakers\nAndreas A. SUMMARY:Beyond Business-as-Usual: Carbon project integrity from the buyer’s perspective
DESCRIPTION:Objectives\nThis workshop will enhance your understanding of carbon project integrity from the buyer’s perspective. We will explore how integrity is assessed and why it is critical for the credibility of carbon credits in both compliance and voluntary markets. \nJoin us together with guest speaker Saras Suteja; carbon EX\, a distinguished carbon project risk expert\, as we delve into this critical topic. \nBackground\nAs carbon projects continue to expand across both compliance and voluntary markets\, ensuring their integrity and credibility has become paramount. Robust safeguards are needed to avoid double counting emission reductions\, prevent greenwashing\, and protect human rights. \nWithin the voluntary carbon market\, two complementary integrity initiatives have risen to embed these safeguards: the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (IC-VCM)\, which concentrates on the supply side\, and the Voluntary Carbon Markets Integrity Initiative (VCMI)\, which addresses the demand side. Their frameworks are reinforced by international standard bodies (Gold Standard\, Verra\, and ART TREES); ratings agencies (Calyx\, Sylvera\, and BeZero); and cross-sector collaborations (Carbon Credit Quality Initiative and the Tropical Forest Integrity Guide). Collectively\, these actors are forging an emerging consensus on what constitutes “high integrity” and how to achieve it in practice. \nParallel to these system-level efforts\, each project must undergo rigorous due diligence to confirm the quality and credibility of the credits it issues. In this context\, an additionality score has become an invaluable tool for credit buyers. Serving as a clear risk metric\, it expresses the degree of confidence that a project’s emission reductions are truly beyond business as usual; the higher the score\, the lower the risk. \nTogether\, these elements help build a transparent\, high-integrity market that attracts sustainable finance and delivers shared benefits. This interconnected understanding of additionality and risk is essential for ensuring environmental integrity\, increases investor and buyer trust in the market\, toward high-quality carbon credits. \nAgenda\n09.00 – 09.30 Registration and coffee\n09.30 – 09.35 Welcoming remarks\, Neyen\n09.35 – 09.45 Topic introduction\, Alvianni Nur Mahmudah\, Neyen \nWorkshop\n09.45 – 10.25 Beyond Business-as-Usual: Carbon project integrity from a buyer’s perspective\n10.25 – 11.05 Q&A\n11.05 – 11.20 Closing and photo session\n11.20 – 12.00 Networking session \nWhen and where?\n12th June\, 09:00 – 12:00 WIB \nWeWork Revenue Tower – 25th Floor\, Meeting Room 25A \nTargeted Participant\nThis workshop is designed for the private sector\, government officials\, NGOs\, research institutions/universities and intergovernmental organizations that are committed to advancing sustainability initiatives.

SUMMARY:Legal Assessment and Legal Diligence in Carbon Projects
DESCRIPTION:Objectives\nThis workshop aims to equip you with the knowledge to strengthen the legal integrity of carbon projects. Through hands-on sessions and expert guidance with Rudi Bachtiar from ARMA Law\, we will explore how to conduct effective legal due diligence—ensuring clarity in land tenure\, ownership rights\, and benefit-sharing in line with national laws and Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.   \nJoin us to build credible\, conflict-free\, and sustainable carbon initiatives that truly deliver on their climate and economic promises.  \nBackground\nAs the global focus on emission reductions intensifies and carbon gains economic value\, the carbon market has expanded significantly. This surge has driven a sharp rise in demand for carbon credits\, with the voluntary carbon market nearly tripling in size by 2021 (Sylvera\, 2024). The momentum has been supported by regulatory developments\, such as Indonesia’s Presidential Regulation No. 98 of 2021 on carbon pricing and markets. This not only reflects strong interest in carbon credits as a mitigation tool but also opens up new economic opportunities for countries with high carbon sequestration potential. \nHowever\, this rapid growth also presents challenges\, particularly in ensuring the legal integrity of carbon projects. Clear regulations on ownership and management rights are critical\, especially given the value attached to carbon assets. Legal land tenure must be addressed early to avoid conflicts between those with formal land rights and those benefiting financially. To safeguard the project’s credibility and sustainability\, developers must conduct legal due diligence—reviewing land ownership\, licenses\, compliance\, and benefit entitlements—aligned with national regulations and Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. \nSpeakers\nAndreas A. SUMMARY:Beyond Carbon: How mangrove restoration in Batu Ampar supports livelihoods and ecosystems
DESCRIPTION:Objectives\nThis workshop\, facilitated by Wiro Wirandi from Nusantara Climate Initiative\, an expert of sustainable commodities\, aims to deepen understanding and build practical capacity on the implementation of NbS in Indonesia’s blue carbon ecosystems. It will highlight lessons learned and good practices\, including the case of Batu Ampar\, Kubu Raya\, West Kalimantan—where local communities depend on mangrove ecosystems for economic activities such as crab cultivation.   \nBackground\nCoastal ecosystems in Indonesia are rapidly degrading due to climate change and especially human activities. As a maritime country\, Indonesia relies heavily on its coastal areas for economic activities\, but overuse has damaged key ecosystems like mangroves\, seagrasses\, and coral reefs. This harms biodiversity\, reduces natural protection from disasters\, and puts the lives and incomes of coastal communities at risk. For instance\, over half of recent mangrove loss is due to shrimp farming\, while seagrasses are damaged by pollution and sedimentation (McLeod and Salm\, 2006). Restoring these ecosystems is crucial\, especially for communities that depend on them or are shifting toward tourism. \nNature-based Solutions (NbS) offer a way forward by using healthy ecosystems to support climate action\, reduce disaster risks\, and promote sustainable development. Examples include restoring mangroves to prevent coastal erosion and reviving seagrasses to store carbon. In this workshop\, Nusantara Climate will share its NbS work at the Kandelia Alam (KLIA) Batu Ampar site and invite participants to explore practical\, community-based blue carbon restoration strategies that support both nature and local economies. \nSpeakers\nAndreas A. SUMMARY:From Above the Canopy: Remote Sensing for Carbon and Nature
DESCRIPTION:Objectives\nThis workshop is part of the MRV series\, facilitated by Agustan Agustan\, a Senior Researcher from BRIN\, aims to introduce and deepen participants’ understanding of how remote sensing can be applied to support MRV — including in carbon projects\, Nature-Based Solutions\, and other relevant contexts. It also aims to strengthen foundational technical capacity in the integrated use of radar and optical data.  \nBackground\nRemote sensing has advanced rapidly in recent decades\, with better data availability\, resolution\, sensor variety\, and analysis methods. Initially used for basic mapping like land cover classification\, it now supports strategic areas such as climate action\, carbon accounting\, and biomass estimation—especially with the integration of AI and satellite technology. \nIt plays a key role in Nature-Based Solutions (NbS)\, aiding in site identification (e.g.\, degraded lands\, watersheds\, coastal zones) and monitoring restoration efforts like reforestation and agroforestry. Tools like NDVI and radar help track vegetation health and land cover change over time. \nCombining radar and optical data strengthens monitoring\, reporting\, and verification (MRV) systems—especially for estimating above-ground biomass\, which is critical for calculating carbon storage in ecosystems. \nSpeakers\nAndreas A. SUMMARY:Bamboo for Climate Action: Unlocking Nature-based Solutions and Carbon Credit Potential
DESCRIPTION:Objectives\nThis workshop session facilitated by Marc Peeters\, a Partner in Bambu Nusa Verde\, aims to explore and promote the role of bamboo as a nature-based solution that can contribute meaningfully to both carbon credit generation and community resilience. It will bring together stakeholders from government\, research institutions\, civil society\, and the private sector to share knowledge\, assess opportunities\, and identify pathways for integrating bamboo into broader climate and development agendas. \nBackground\nNature-based solutions are gaining attention for climate mitigation\, with the forestry sector playing a key role. Among various commodities\, bamboo stands out for its ability to reduce emissions while also supporting local livelihoods and restoring ecosystems. \nThough often mistaken for a tree\, bamboo is a fast-growing grass with over 1\,250 species found in tropical and subtropical areas. Its rapid growth and ability to thrive on degraded land make it ideal for reforestation and carbon capture. Research from Universitas Gadjah Mada shows bamboo can absorb up to 17 tons of carbon per hectare per year and produce 35% more oxygen than trees. \nIn addition to its environmental benefits\, bamboo offers economic value. Integrated into nature-based solution (NbS) frameworks\, it can support local communities through skills training\, bamboo-based industries\, and participation in carbon markets. This combination of climate and social benefits makes bamboo a strong candidate for both voluntary and compliance carbon market strategies. \nSpeakers\nAndreas A. SUMMARY:Advancing Carbon Markets in FOLU Sector: Integrating Policy\, Practice\, and Pricing for Sustainable Forestry in Indonesia
DESCRIPTION:Objectives\nThis workshop\, led by Ilham\, ST.\, MT\, Director of Forest Utilization Business at the Directorate General of Sustainable Forest Management\, Ministry of Environment and Forestry\, aims to enhance participants’ understanding of sustainable forest utilization in the AFOLU (Agriculture\, Forestry\, and Other Land Use) sector. The session will highlight the current practices in sustainable forest utilization\, emphasizing the alignment between regulatory frameworks and on-the-ground implementation.  \nBackground\nIndonesia’s vast tropical forests hold great potential to support national emission reduction goals\, especially through carbon projects in the forestry sector. Studies show Indonesia could produce over 1.2 billion tons of carbon credits annually by 2030\, with a market value reaching up to USD 16.7 billion. Projects in this sector include REDD+\, peatland and mangrove restoration\, biodiversity protection\, and community-based initiatives\, alongside less common types like afforestation and improved forest management. \nThis workshop explores how Indonesia’s forest utilization system\, under the PBPH permit framework\, is evolving to support carbon and environmental services. With insights from government and project examples\, the session aims to strengthen understanding of AFOLU carbon opportunities\, promote best practices\, and support the FOLU Net Sink 2030 target through credible\, sustainable forest management. \nSpeakers\nAndreas A. SUMMARY:inFUSE Thailand: Insetting\, Carbon Footprint\, Scope 3 Emissions
DESCRIPTION:Why Should Organizations Prioritize Scope 3 Emissions?\nOrganizations should prioritize Scope 3 emissions because\, although they are difficult to measure and lie beyond direct control\, they often represent the largest share of a company’s carbon footprint. Regulators\, investors\, and financial institutions increasingly demand transparent disclosure of Scope 3 data\, while multinational corporations with Science-Based Targets are requiring their supply chain partners to track and reduce these emissions. Failing to address Scope 3 could therefore expose companies to regulatory pressure\, financial risks\, and the loss of global market opportunities. \nBenefits of managing Scope 3 emissions\nReveal strategic risks and opportunities Scope 3 assessment enables organizations to identify weaknesses in the value chain\, such as risks related to raw material costs\, energy\, and stakeholder concerns. \nEnhance Competitive Advantage\nIn an era where customers\, investors\, and business partners demand products with comprehensive\, transparent\, and standardized carbon footprint accounting\, Scope 3 management helps organizations build trust and create long-term value. \nEnhance resource efficiency and reduce costs\nEvaluating activities in the supply chain helps organizations improve production processes\, use raw materials efficiently\, or design products that consume fewer resources. \nSupport comprehensive Net Zero goal setting\nOrganizations cannot achieve Net Zero goals without managing Scope 3 emissions comprehensively and systematically. \nTargeted Participant\nSustainability leaders\, professional and practitioners from private sector and state-owned enterprise looking to enhance their understanding\, calculate and reduce scope 3 emissions. \nAgenda \n\n\n\n09.00 – 09.30\n30\nRegistration\nNeyen Consulting\n\n\n09.30 – 09.35\n5\nWelcoming remarks\n\n\n09.35 – 09.40\n5\nIntroduce Speaker\n\n\n09.40 – 09.50\n10\nGetting to know inFUSE Thailand\n\n\nWorkshop\n\n\nPart I- Training\n\n\n09.50 – 10.10\n20\nThe Importance and Overview of Carbon Footprint Accounting for Scope 3\nK. SUMMARY:Coal-phase out with transition credits ปลดระวางถ่านหินเพื่อการเปลี่ยนผ่าน
DESCRIPTION:Join us together with our host and partner KORA Climate at this special inFUSE event at Bangkok Climate Action Week. \nAbout\nTransition Credits are a new and emerging approach to incentivize the early phase-out of coal power. Southeast Asia is the focal point for the trialling of transition credits\, with an initial pilot project in the Philippines and several other countries in the region showing interest. There are currently multiple standards and policy frameworks being developed\, all within the context of a global push for higher integrity within the voluntary carbon market. What is the potential for Transition Credits in the region? Can integrity be guaranteed without undermining market potential? What role for the Just Transition in this process? This panel of esteemed experts working at the ‘coal face’ of transition credits will explore these questions at a critical moment in their development. \nLanguage: English \nEvent registration: https://luma.com/i71xtyp3 \nPartners:\nNeyen Consulting\, ClientEarth\, Carbon Market Watch\, The Carbon Trust

SUMMARY:inFUSE Indonesia: Practical approaches to social performance and stakeholder governance
DESCRIPTION:Objectives\n\nProvide a clear understanding of social performance as an integral part of ESG strategy\, beyond compliance obligations.\nIntroduce stakeholder governance frameworks that help companies build trust\, reduce social risks\, and enhance business resilience.\nShare case studies and best practices from Indonesian and global corporates that successfully integrate social performance and stakeholder governance.\nFacilitate interactive discussions among participants to exchange challenges and practical solutions in managing social issues at both company and community levels.\nGenerate initial recommendations for companies to develop more inclusive\, participatory\, and impactful stakeholder engagement strategies.\n\nBackground\nWithin the ESG framework\, the social dimension is often underestimated or reduced to CSR programs and regulatory compliance. Yet\, strong social performance is a foundation of business resilience: it safeguards public trust\, strengthens reputation\, and prevents potential conflicts with communities. For companies operating in Indonesia’s diverse social landscape\, this is key to securing their social license to operate and contributing to national sustainability priorities. \nEqually important is stakeholder governance — the way companies engage\, listen\, and collaborate with communities\, government\, and civil society. Effective stakeholder governance ensures that corporate sustainability strategies are not designed top-down\, but co-created with those directly affected by business operations. This approach drives inclusivity\, transparency\, and accountability\, while creating shared value for businesses and society. \nThis workshop is designed to provide practical insights for corporate leaders. Through a mix of presentations\, case studies\, and discussions\, participants will learn how to build effective stakeholder governance mechanisms\, measure social performance more concretely\, and integrate both dimensions into core business strategies. With the expertise of Social Investment Indonesia (SII)\, the workshop aims to help companies move beyond compliance and take bold leadership in social sustainability. \nAgenda\n\n\n\nTime\nTopic\nWho\n\n\n09.00 – 09.30\nRegistration\nAll participants\n\n\n09.30 – 09.35\nWelcoming Remarks\nNEYEN Consulting\n\n\n09.35 – 09.50\nOpening: Corporate ESG Landscape 2025\nModerator\n\n\n09.50 – 10.30\nKeynote: Practical Approaches to Social Performance and Stakeholder Governance\nExpert from Social Investment Indonesia (SII)\n\n\n10.30 – 11.05\nDiscussion Session (Q&A)\nAll participants\n\n\n11.05 – 11.20\nClosing and Photo Session\n\n\n\n11.20 – 12.00\nNetworking Session\n\n\n\n\nWho is this for\n\nCorporate Executives and ESG Managers\nHeads of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)\, Community Development\, and Stakeholder Relations\nOperations and Legal Managers in natural resources-based industries (e.g.\, mining\, plantations\, energy)\nGovernment Officials and Regulators\nNGOs\, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)\, and Development Partners\nInvestors\, ESG Analysts\, and Financial Institutions

SUMMARY:Decarbonizing the Waste Sector: A circular economy opportunity
DESCRIPTION:Objectives\nThis introductory workshop\, “Decarbonizing the Waste Sector: A Circular Economy Opportunity\,” is designed for professionals and businesses seeking to understand how sustainable waste management can play a vital role in reducing emissions and advancing circular economy goals. As waste continues to be a major source of methane and other greenhouse gases\, this session will provide a practical foundation for exploring strategies that align waste-sector decarbonization with national and corporate climate targets. \nParticipants will gain insights into the sources of emissions from dumpsites\, the realities of waste management in Thailand\, and global developments in circular economy practices. The workshop will also highlight real-world examples such as plastic recycling to illustrate both the opportunities and challenges of transitioning toward low-carbon waste systems. Finally\, it will connect these themes to broader Net-Zero pathways\, helping participants understand how decarbonizing the waste sector can create business value\, support sustainability commitments\, and contribute to climate resilience \nHighlight scope\nThe session will provide an in-depth exploration of how the waste sector can contribute to national and global decarbonization goals. The presentation begins by examining methane emissions from dumpsites\, one of the most significant yet often overlooked sources of greenhouse gases\, and outlines key strategies to reduce these emissions through improved waste management and circular practices. It then situates these issues within both Thailand’s and the global circular economy landscape\, emphasizing how policy\, innovation\, and public awareness are driving systemic change. Using plastic recycling as a case study\, the session highlights the complex technical\, economic\, and behavioural challenges that hinder effective recycling and resource recovery. Participants are also invited to reflect on the realities of waste management in Thailand\, considering gaps between policy ambition and on-the-ground implementation. Finally\, the discussion links waste-sector decarbonization to broader Net-Zero pathways and corporate climate action\, illustrating how circular economy approaches can serve as powerful enablers of sustainable growth and carbon neutrality.  \nObjectives\n\n Understand waste management situation in Thailand\nExplain their importance for Thai businesses\nProvide insights into Thailand’s and global developments on the circular economy\nIntroducing how waste management can play a vital role in circular economy goals\n\nBenefit & Outcome\n\nGain practical knowledge to participate in circular economy\nUnderstand opportunities for businesses\nLearn from real project examples and case studies\nSupport strategy development in waste-sector decarbonization\n\nWho is this for?\n\nBusiness executives and corporate strategy teams\nSustainability / ESG / CSR departments\nConsultants\, project developers\, aggregators\n\nAgenda\n\n\n\nTime \nTopic \nSpeaker\n\n\n9.00 – 9.30 \nRegistration  \n\n\n9.30 – 9.35 \nWelcome Remarks & Getting to Know inFUSE Thailand  \nYathida Ti.  \n(inFUSE)\n\n\n9.35 – 9.40 \nIntroducing Speaker and session overview \n\n\nWorkshop \n\n\n9.40-10.30 \nDecarbonizing the Waste Sector\, a circular economy opportunity – Part 1  \n\nMethane emissions from the dumpsite and how to decarbonize the waste sectors\,  \n\n\nInsights into Thailand’s and global developments on the circular economy \n\n\nPlastic recycling and its challenges (as an example) \n\n\nJerome Leborgne (Veolia)  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n \n\n\n10.30-10.40 \nShort break \n\n\n10.40-11.30 \nDecarbonizing the Waste Sector\, a circular economy opportunity – Part 2  \n\nThe reality behind Waste management in Thailand \n\n\nDecarbonization linked to Net-Zero initiatives\, pathways and corporate action. \n\n\n\n\n11.30-11.50 \nDiscussion Session (Q&A) \n\n\n11.50-12.00 \nGroup Photo & Networking Session  \n\n\nLunch (will be provided at the venue) \n\n\n\nAbout the speaker\n \nJerome Le Borgne\nBusiness Development Director (SEA)\nThailand Representative\nVeolia South East Asia \nArmed with a Master’s degree in Engineering from ParisTech Arts et Metiers in France and a further qualification in Corporate Finance from Columbia University in the USA\, Jerome Le Borgne has dedicated the past 12 years of his career to the development of sustainable projects for the benefit of Thailand and its communities. SUMMARY:inFUSE Indonesia: From Pathways to Impact - Storytelling Your Sector’s Net Zero Journey
DESCRIPTION:Objectives  \n\nUnderstand the role of storytelling in effectively communicating the industrial sector’s Net Zero journey. \nIdentify key elements of compelling\, data-driven sustainability narratives. \nPractice creating a mini story outline that illustrates each sector’s contribution or initiative toward Net Zero. \n\nBackground  \nThe industrial sector plays a central role in Indonesia’s pathway to achieving Net Zero Emissions by 2060 or sooner. Many industries have taken significant steps — from improving energy efficiency and adopting low-carbon technologies to developing more sustainable production processes. However\, these achievements often remain under-communicated to the public\, investors\, and other key stakeholders.  \nEffective\, data-driven communication is essential to position industrial sustainability initiatives not merely as compliance measures\, but as tangible contributions to Indonesia’s green economic transformation. In this context\, storytelling serves as a bridge between technical pathways and real-world impacts\, enabling industries to highlight leadership and progress in the Net Zero transition.  \nThis workshop is designed to support representatives from industrial sectors under the Ministry of Industry in developing the ability to transform technical data\, strategies\, and milestones into inspiring and credible narratives. Through a practical and interactive approach\, participants will learn how to communicate their sector’s Net Zero journey in ways that build trust\, strengthen reputation\, and encourage broader collaboration.  \nAgenda \n\n\n\nTime \nDur \nTopic \nResource Persons \n\n\n09.00 – 09.30  \n30  \nRegistration  \n  \n\n\n09.30 – 09.35  \n5  \nWelcoming Remarks  \nNEYEN Consulting  \n\n\n09.35 – 09.50  \n15  \nOpening: Corporate Net Zero Journey  \nModerator  \n\n\n09.50 – 10.30  \n40  \nKeynote address  \nSpeaker  \n\n\n10.30 – 11.05  \n35  \nPractice creating mini story (Q&A)  \nAll participants  \n\n\n11.05 – 11.20  \n15  \nClosing and Photo Session  \n  \n\n\n09.00 – 09.30  \n30  \nRegistration  \n \n\n\n\nTargeted Participants  \n– Sustainability and ESG managers/officers  \n– Corporate Communications & Public Affairs Officers  \n– Industrial Policy and Program Officers  \n– Operational and Technical Managers  \n– Industry Associations and Business Chambers Representatives

SUMMARY:inFUSE Indonesia: Preparing for the ESG and Climate Policy Landscape of 2026
DESCRIPTION:Objectives  \n\nProvide an overview of key ESG and climate regulatory developments relevant for 2026\, both globally and in Indonesia. \nDiscuss how these regulations affect corporate compliance\, disclosure\, and sustainability strategies. \nEquip participants with practical insights and tools to prepare their organizations for upcoming ESG and climate policy changes. \n\nBackground  \nAs sustainability becomes a defining element of global business competitiveness\, Environmental\, Social\, and Governance (ESG) practices are no longer optional. In Indonesia\, corporations are increasingly expected to align with ESG and climate-related regulations\, not only to comply with government policies but also to secure investor confidence\, maintain market relevance\, and contribute to national climate commitments.  \nHeading into 2026\, the ESG and climate regulatory landscape is evolving rapidly. Globally\, new disclosure standards—such as those from the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB)\, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)\, and the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)—are shaping corporate governance and sustainability reporting frameworks. At the national level\, Indonesia is advancing regulatory instruments such as carbon pricing\, Just Energy Transition frameworks\, and mandatory ESG disclosures for listed companies.  \nThis workshop aims to unpack these developments and help Indonesian corporations understand\, anticipate\, and adapt to the ESG and climate policy landscape of 2026. It brings together thought leaders\, corporate practitioners\, and policymakers to discuss implications\, challenges\, and actionable steps for businesses.\n \nAgenda  \n\n\n\nTime \nTopic \nWho\n\n\n09.00 – 09.30  \nRegistration  \nAll  \n\n\n09.30 – 09.35  \nWelcoming Remarks  \nNEYEN Consulting  \n\n\n09.35 – 09.50  \nOpening: Corporate ESG  \nModerator  \n\n\n09.50 – 10.30  \nKeynote address  \nSonny S. SUMMARY:inFUSE Indonesia: Strategic ESG Implementation for Long-Term Value Creation
DESCRIPTION:Objectives \n\nTo outline and analyze the three main ESG challenges currently faced by Indonesian companies. \nTo teach how to strategically respond to ESG threats\, transforming them into innovation and competitive advantage. \nTo demonstrate how mature ESG implementation generates sustainable growth and lasting shareholder value. \n\nBackground \nIn the face of escalating global demands for transparency and sustainability\, ESG (Environmental\, Social\, and Governance) factors have become central to corporate strategy. However\, the transition to a sustainable business model is fraught with hurdles.  \nThe workshop “Strategic ESG Implementation for Long-Term Value Creation” is organized to realistically unpack the fundamental challenges often hindering ESG implementation—ranging from the complexity of data collection and reporting\, difficulties in measuring social impact\, to the pressure of avoiding greenwashing practices.  \nThis session aims to equip corporate leaders with a solid framework to address these challenges head-on. By strategically transforming ESG hurdles into actionable steps\, companies will not only meet investor and regulatory expectations but also build resilience and secure a long-term competitive edge in an increasingly sustainability-conscious market.  \nAgenda\n\n\n\nTime \nTopic \nWho\n\n\n09.00 – 09.30  \nRegistration  \n  \n\n\n09.30 – 09.35  \nWelcoming Remarks  \nNEYEN Consulting  \n\n\n09.35 – 09.50  \nOpening: Corporate ESG  \nModerator  \n\n\n09.50 – 10.30  \nKeynote address  \nChandra Wirman\n(Sustainability Consultant and GRI Registered Trainer\nfrom Karisman Consulting)\n\n\n10.30 – 11.05  \nDiscussion Session (Q&A)  \nAll participants  \n\n\n11.05 – 11.20  \nClosing and Photo Session  \n  \n\n\n11.20 – 12.00  \nNetworking Session  \n \n\n\n\nWho is this for?\n\nCorporate Executives and ESG Managers \n\n\nHeads of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)\, Community Development\, and \n\n\nStakeholder Relations \n\n\nOperations and Legal Managers in natural resources-based industries (e.g.\, mining\, \n\n\nplantations\, energy) \n\n\nGovernment Officials and Regulators \n\n\nNGOs\, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)\, and Development Partners \n\n\nInvestors\, ESG Analysts\, and Financial Institutions \n\n
