SUMMARY:inFUSE Indonesia: Renewable Energy through Community Based Approaches - Challenges and Opportunities
DESCRIPTION:Objectives \n\nTo explore challenges and opportunities in implementing renewable energy initiatives through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community-based approaches. \nTo share practical lessons learned from CSR-driven renewable energy projects\, including micro-hydro and wind energy initiatives. \nTo understand how renewable energy projects can be integrated with community empowerment\, agriculture\, and environmental conservation. \nTo highlight the role of the energy sector in supporting an inclusive\, sustainable\, and socially impactful energy transition. \n\nBackground \nThe transition towards renewable energy presents not only technological and economic challenges\, but also social and institutional considerations\, particularly in remote and rural areas. While large-scale renewable energy projects are essential to meet national energy targets\, small-scale and community-based renewable solutions play a critical role in expanding energy access\, strengthening local resilience\, and supporting sustainable livelihoods.  \nCorporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs within the energy sector have become important platforms for piloting renewable energy technologies that are closely aligned with local needs. Initiatives such as micro-hydro power plants\, small-scale wind energy\, and ecosystem-based approaches linked to agricultural sustainability demonstrate how renewable energy can generate both environmental and social benefits.  \nInsights from industry practitioners who directly manage and implement CSR-based renewable energy programs are essential to understand real-world challenges\, community engagement strategies\, and long-term sustainability of such initiatives. This workshop aims to provide an applied industry perspective on how renewable energy can be effectively implemented through CSR\, contributing to inclusive and locally grounded energy transition efforts.  \nAgenda  \n\n\n\nTime  \nTopic  \nResource Persons  \n\n\n09.00 – 09.30   \nRegistration   \n   \n\n\n09.30 – 09.35   \nWelcoming Remarks   \nNEYEN Consulting   \n\n\n09.35 – 09.50   \nOpening: introduction inFUSE  \nModerator   \n\n\n09.50 – 10.30   \nKeynote address   \nNana Sutisna\, Environment Supervisor at JOB Pertamina Medco E-P Tomori Sulawesi (Ecological Antropologist)\n\n\n10.30 – 11.05   \nDiscussion Session (Q&A)   \nAll participants   \n\n\n11.05 – 11.20   \nClosing and Photo Session   \n   \n\n\n11.20 – 12.00   \nNetworking\n   \n\n\n\n\n Targeted Participants  \n\nCorporate Executives and ESG Managers \nEnergy sector professionals \nEnvironmental and sustainability teams \nProject development and operations teams \nEngineering and technical teams \nCorporate planning and risk management units \nInvestors\, ESG Analysts\, and Financial Institutions \nGovernment officials and regulators \n\nMore information\ninFUSE Community Support: +62 813-1318-227
