SUMMARY:inFUSE Indonesia: Restoration and Carbon Projects
DESCRIPTION:Objectives \n\nTo explain the role of ecosystem restoration in climate mitigation and carbon project development. \nTo provide an overview of carbon project approaches linked to restoration activities. \nTo discuss scientific\, regulatory\, and implementation of considerations in restoration-based carbon projects. \nTo explore opportunities and challenges in scaling restoration initiatives with measurable climate and biodiversity outcomes. \n\nBackground \nEcosystem degradation continues to pose significant risks to climate stability\, biodiversity\, and community livelihoods. Restoration of forests\, peatlands\, mangroves\, and other ecosystems has gained increasing attention as a pathway to address climate change while delivering co-benefits for biodiversity and social outcomes. As a result\, restoration is increasingly linked to carbon project development under voluntary and compliance carbon market mechanisms.  \nHowever\, developing carbon projects based on restoration activities requires robust scientific baselines\, credible monitoring and reporting systems\, and alignment with evolving regulatory and methodological standards. In Indonesia\, where restoration potential is significant\, ensuring environmental integrity and long-term sustainability remains a critical challenge.  \nThis workshop will examine restoration-based carbon projects from a scientific and implementation perspective. Drawing on research insights\, the session will highlight how restoration initiatives can be designed to generate credible carbon benefits while supporting biodiversity recovery and broader sustainability objectives.  \nAgenda\n\n\n\nTime \nTopic \nResource Persons \n\n\n09.00 – 09.30  \nRegistration  \n  \n\n\n09.30 – 09.35  \nWelcoming Remarks  \nNEYEN Consulting  \n\n\n09.35 – 09.50  \nOpening: introduction inFUSE \nModerator  \n\n\n09.50 – 10.30  \nKeynote address  \nSpeaker\n\n\n10.30 – 11.05  \nDiscussion Session (Q&A)  \nAll participants  \n\n\n11.05 – 11.20  \nClosing and Photo Session  \n  \n\n\n11.20 – 12.00 \nNetworking Session \n  \n\n\n\nTargeted Participants \n\nCorporate sustainability and climate teams \nCarbon project developers and market participants \nGovernment agencies and policymakers \nResearchers and practitioners in restoration and conservation \nInvestors and financial institutions \nNGOs and development organizations \n\nMore information   \ninFUSE Community Support: +62 813-1318-227

SUMMARY:inFUSE Indonesia: Assessing Social and Biodiversity Impacts in Sustainability Initiatives
DESCRIPTION:Objectives \n\nTo introduce key concepts and frameworks for measuring social and biodiversity impacts. \nTo explain why impact measurement is critical for credible sustainability and ESG strategies. \nTo discuss practical tools and indicators used in social and biodiversity impact assessment. \nTo support organizations in strengthening transparency\, accountability\, and impact reporting. \n\nBackground\nAs sustainability commitments expand\, organizations are increasingly expected to demonstrate not only environmental performance\, but also measurable social and biodiversity impacts. Investors\, regulators\, and stakeholders now demand credible evidence of outcomes rather than high-level commitments or qualitative narratives.  \nMeasuring social and biodiversity impact presents unique challenges\, including data availability\, methodological consistency\, and the integration of qualitative and quantitative indicators. Emerging frameworks\, standards\, and disclosure requirements are shaping how companies assess and communicate their impacts across value chains and project activities.  \nThis workshop will focus on practical approaches to measuring social and biodiversity impact. By examining commonly used frameworks\, indicators\, and real-world applications\, the session aims to help participants better understand how impact measurement can support decision-making\, risk management\, and credible sustainability reporting.  \nAgenda\n\n\n\nTime \nTopic \nResource Persons \n\n\n09.00 – 09.30  \nRegistration  \n  \n\n\n09.30 – 09.35  \nWelcoming Remarks  \nNEYEN Consulting  \n\n\n09.35 – 09.50  \nOpening: introduction inFUSE \nModerator  \n\n\n09.50 – 10.30  \nKeynote address  \nSpeaker\n\n\n10.30 – 11.05  \nDiscussion Session (Q&A)  \nAll participants  \n\n\n11.05 – 11.20  \nClosing and Photo Session  \n  \n\n\n11.20 – 12.00 \nNetworking Session \n  \n\n\n\nTargeted Participants \n\nCorporate sustainability and ESG teams \nImpact measurement and monitoring practitioners \nInvestors and financial institutions \nNGOs and development organizations \nConsultants and advisory professionals \nGovernment agencies and regulators\n\nMore information   \ninFUSE Community Support: +62 813-1318-227

SUMMARY:inFUSE Indonesia: Nature-based Solutions for Climate and Biodiversity
DESCRIPTION:Objectives \n\nTo introduce Nature-based Solutions (NbS) as an integrated approach to climate and biodiversity challenges.\nTo explain how NbS can deliver multiple environmental and social co-benefits.\nTo discuss policy\, technical\, and implementation considerations for NbS initiatives.\nTo explore opportunities for scaling NbS through partnerships\, finance\, and policy alignment.\n\nBackground\nNature-based Solutions have emerged as a key approach to addressing climate change\, biodiversity loss\, and ecosystem degradation simultaneously. By working with natural systems\, NbS offer pathways to reduce emissions\, enhance carbon sinks\, restore biodiversity\, and strengthen community resilience. \nDespite growing interest\, the implementation of NbS faces challenges related to governance\, financing\, monitoring\, and alignment with climate and biodiversity frameworks. Ensuring that NbS initiatives deliver real\, measurable\, and lasting outcomes requires sound scientific foundations and strong institutional collaboration. \nThis workshop will provide an overview of NbS concepts and applications\, highlighting how NbS can be integrated into climate and biodiversity strategies. Through insights from research and practice\, participants will gain a better understanding of the opportunities and limitations of NbS as a scalable sustainability solution. \nAgenda\n\n\n\nTime \nTopic \nResource Persons \n\n\n09.00 – 09.30  \nRegistration  \n  \n\n\n09.30 – 09.35  \nWelcoming Remarks  \nNEYEN Consulting  \n\n\n09.35 – 09.50  \nOpening: introduction inFUSE \nModerator  \n\n\n09.50 – 10.30  \nKeynote address  \nSpeaker\n\n\n10.30 – 11.05  \nDiscussion Session (Q&A)  \nAll participants  \n\n\n11.05 – 11.20  \nClosing and Photo Session  \n  \n\n\n11.20 – 12.00 \nNetworking Session \n  \n\n\n\nTargeted Participants \n\nCorporate sustainability and climate strategy teams\nGovernment agencies and policymakers\nConservation and development organizations\nInvestors and financial institutions\nResearchers and technical experts\nProject developers and implementers\n\nMore information   \ninFUSE Community Support: +62 813-1318-227
